It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

With another week approaching for me to teach preschool I was looking up ideas for ornaments since that was our theme for the week and these are the ones that I decided on. Luckily I looked early enough and the boys and I were able to go and collect pine cones from outside instead of buying them. I am really happy how they all turned out. I like the pine cone ones and candy cane reindeer so much I made extra for my tree.  Then just this past week we had preschool and the children really enjoyed making these and did a good job also.

Pine cones spray painted a metallic silver, then dipped in glue and glitter.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great this year. We were able to be with both sides of the family and eat lots of yummy food and be thankful for so many things that we have in our lives. We spent Thanksgiving day with Erich's family and enjoyed seeing everyone. The boys really loved playing with their Aunt's and Uncle. Erich and I were also able to go see 2 movies while home for the holiday which was nice since we seldom get to go to the movies. On Friday and Saturday we spent time with my parents and missed all my siblings that are so far away. We helped my parents put up their many Christmas decorations and the boys had a ball. They kept asking what else they could do to help. We had a fun few days of resting and relaxing.
